On December 9, 2021, a security vulnerability was discovered in the Java logging library Apache Log4j. This issue allows outside parties to access certain websites and hosting environments without needing a password.
Fortunately, Amimoto’s managed WordPress server and dashboard environments were not affected as they are built using PHP. Additionally, as WordPress is powered by PHP and not Java, this vulnerability has no effect on WordPress either.
